The Stoddard Rock hoppers are a 180-+ member snowmobile club comprising of both locals and out of state weekenders. The club was founded by a group of local people that enjoyed snowmobiling and wished to improve both the trails and the experience of snowmobiling in town. Over the years, the club grew and gained affiliation with both the State of New Hampshire and the NHSA which in turned opened doors to equipment grants for grooming and construction grants for trail improvements. The Rock Hoppers then forged relationships with the landowners to allow the continuation of snowmobiling in Stoddard.
We hope you enjoy our site and find it easy to navigate. Take some time and cruise through the pages. 12/27/2011 Well, we have no snow here to speak of. The little bit of white on the ground is only an 2-3" and nothing is frozen. The whole state is without snow for riding thus all trails are still closed. We have purchased a small groomer for corridor 6 east which will help us groom more often and do a better job on keeping the trail smooth. The machine is a used ASV track-truk. With any luck, we will be able to use it. Everyone needs to do a snow dance. Best Regards, Bob Fee, President. I have a new e-mail address. Here it is: rfee@myfairpoint.net Bob Fee Landowners ALLOW us to ride on their property and we should be grateful for their gift of permission. Do not bypass gates. Your decision to do so will result in the landowner closing the trail. Be patient and respectful. Your registration gives you no rights to trespass where you wish. Riding in NH is a privilege, not a right. |
